Windows Server 2025 User CAL

Per-user Client Access Licence for Windows Server.

A Client Access Licence permits one named user to access Windows Server, from any number of devices. User CALs are the economical choice where staff use a laptop, a desktop and a phone against the same server; device CALs are cheaper where several people share one machine across shifts.

CALs must match or exceed the server version. A Server 2025 host cannot legally be accessed with Server 2019 CALs.
